Rated estate (2020 guide): 3 stars (High-quality production, setting the standard in its sector)

About the estate:

The La Réméjeanne estate boasts a breathtaking view of Mont Ventoux, nestled in a landscape that is part Provençal, part Cévennes. Now managed by Rémy Klein, originally from Alsace, and his son Olivier, who returned to the estate in 2010, this family’s winemaking journey began in 1960, when his parents purchased a 5-hectare estate on La Réméjeanne. They expanded the estate, which now comprises 35 hectares of vineyards, 2 hectares of olive trees, and 0.50 hectares of fig trees. Highly exposed to the mistral wind, the conditions are ideal for producing high-quality grapes. This estate is one of the best-kept secrets on the right bank of the Rhône, and its wines win us over year after year with their precision and integrity.

Rated wine (2021 guide) 1*Star (2018 vintage) (A very successful wine)

Rated estate (2021 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines regularly receive awards from the guide)

About the estate:

Originally from Alsace-Lorraine and having emigrated to the Maghreb, the Klein family settled in Sabran in 1960, taking over 5 hectares of vineyards. Today, Rémy Klein, who took over in 1988 and was joined by his son Olivier in 2009, cultivates 35 hectares organically. A reliable choice in Côtes-du-Rhône and village wines.

Rated estate (2021 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking, and as such, all the estates listed here—even those without a star—represent, in our view, the pinnacle of French winemaking.)

About the estate:

Located entirely outside the wine-growing centers of the Rhône Valley, the masterfully managed La Réméjeanne estate has established itself as one of the region’s finest, producing clean, pure, and elegant wines. The reds display a striking naturalness. Each cuvée is named after a shrub: Les Arbousiers is the simplest wine, while Les Eglantiers is an ambitious Syrah cuvée. Meticulously crafted, the whites and rosés are best enjoyed for their fruit and freshness.
