Château Saint-Pierre
Château Saint-Pierre is owned by Henri Martin. The winemaking history of this estate, one of the oldest in the Médoc, dates back to the 16th century. As early as 1693, archives attest to the existence of a wine estate called “Serançan,” belonging to the Marquis de Cheverry.
Château Saint-Pierre is included in the 1855 classification, where the estate appears at the top of the list of 4th Grand Crus. From 1832 until the early 1980s, the Saint-Pierre vineyard remained separate from the château until Henri Martin finally reunited them step by step: first the cellar, then the residence, and finally the vineyard, located in the heart of the commune of Beychevelle.
Today, Françoise and Jean-Louis Triaud, her son-in-law, continue to make this jewel of the Domaines Henri Martin shine, at the heart of the Médoc elite.
