Robert Parker

The Gigondas Les Rocassieres 2010 is a small cuvée made from Grenache and Mourvèdre grapes grown on 60-year-old vines and aged in vats. It is smooth, rich, and ripe, with blackcurrant notes, a creamy texture, full body, and plenty of power. Of course, only perfectly ripe fruit was harvested from this vineyard planted on gravelly, alluvial soils. Long, rich, and pure, this 2010 should drink well for a decade."
