"A sure bet"

A Viognier that thrives beautifully in the vineyards of the Grignan-les-Adhémar appellation. It reveals itself with elegance and undeniable charm. A brief stint in oak barrels imparts delicate notes of toast, nuts, and vanilla. On the palate, it is full-bodied, rich, and powerful, while retaining a very pleasant freshness.

Rated estate (2020 guide) Selected (An estate or winery that impressed us with one or more of its wines, though we are unable to offer a general assessment of the style of its entire range)

About the estate:

For four generations, this estate has been gradually expanding. Today, it spans 78 hectares, primarily in the Drôme Provençale region, around Grignan and Vinsobres. Consistently high in quality, the wines beautifully express their terroirs, thanks to expert barrel aging. The wines of the Grignan-les-Adhémar appellation are among the region’s finest examples. Of particular note is the excellent consistency of the samples tasted from the 2017 and 2018 vintages.
