About the estate:
In the heart of the Ardèche region, Benoît Chazallon and his wife Florence cultivate forty hectares of vineyards using organic farming methods. The estate features a wide range of grape varieties, all vinified using native yeasts, to produce several cuvées that are bottled unfiltered. We particularly enjoyed the wines from the Les Confidentielles range (Florence, L’Audacieuse, and Madame de), made exclusively from southern grape varieties.

About the estate:
The medieval castle of La Selve began as a fortified house (in the 13th century) and later served as a hunting lodge for the Duke of Joyeuse, before becoming a winery (40 hectares today, certified organic). Benoît Chazallon has been at the helm since 2002, taking over from his parents.
