Gault & Millau

"This bottle is characterized by a genuine quest for personality. The aromas are ripe, with hints of spices and cranberries. The palate is based on fine, tangy tannins with a vinous character. " (Le Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France 2015). This powerful and complex gastronomic rosé is a wine of great pedigree that will delight lovers of well-crafted rosés. A great wine from the estate!

About wine:

This bottle is characterized by a genuine quest for personality. The aromas are ripe, with hints of spices and cranberries. The palate is based on fine, tangy tannins with a vinous character.

About the estate:

When talking to Jérôme Bressy, a knowledgeable and fascinating man, it is a pleasure to listen to his wealth of knowledge about the techniques of yesteryear, the ancestral practices that gave rise to the great wines of Vaucluse. Attuned to his terroir and the diversity of his vines, he is a rare craftsman in the wine-growing world. He is an exceptional figure, producing IGP Vaucluse wines that are true expressions of the Rasteau terroir, reflecting the old varieties treated with respect and care. In the cellar, patience and experience accompany time to produce some of the most accomplished wines in the southern Rhône Valley. With each vintage, he raises his standards to achieve tangible perfection. Once again, he has demonstrated this this year.

Gault & Millau Wine Guide

Guide des Vins Gault & Millau

Wine rating (2016 guide) 17.5/20 (Outstanding)

About wine:

Jérôme Bressy presents this exceptional, atypical rosé as a blanc de noirs! The palate is succulent with a real spicy, peppery background and a flavor reminiscent of the essence of a crustacean shell. A truly gourmet rosé. Tasted in February 2016.
