"Marsanne concentrate"
More serious and focused, the Saint Joseph Le Berceau Blanc 2024 offers fresh aromas of quince, crushed stone, orange blossom, and spicy nuances on the nose. It is medium-bodied and presents a concentrated and elegant palate, with beautifully integrated acidity, as well as a concentration and depth that will allow it to benefit from 1 to 2 years of bottle aging and keep for a good ten years." About wine:
A powerful and structured white St-Joseph. It has remarkable intensity, great concentration, intense freshness, bitter citrus peel notes, and lively acidity. It offers a long, salty finish and will age very well. Without a doubt one of the best whites of the vintage for this appellation. Old vines grown in the St-Joseph locality.

Rated estate (2024 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the estate:
The Gripa family arrived in Saint-Péray in the 17th century, then settled in Mauves around 1850. A sure bet in the northern Rhône Valley, both for its Saint-Péray and Saint-Joseph wines (as evidenced by the numerous Favorites in both appellations), the estate has been run since 2001 by Fabrice Gripa, son of Bernard, who now manages 18 hectares of vineyards.
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Rated estate (2024 guide) 2 stars (These very large estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).
About the estate:
Fabrice Gripa continues his father's work in the Mauves estate, which produces as many white wines as reds. He is a master of his craft, producing a range of wines with strong personalities. The whites are represented by four cuvées: two Saint-Péray and two Saint-Joseph. The reds are fruit-forward, with integrity and admirable aging. A consistent estate producing wines of very high quality.
