Vignoble De Boisseyt

In the heart of the most iconic terroirs of the Northern Rhône, the Domaine de Boisseyt is known as the oldest estate in Chavanay. Beautifully situated on the finest plots of Côte Rôtie— including the iconic Côte Blonde—Saint Joseph, and Condrieu, it stretches across the steep slopes of these appellations, between “ chaillées” and terraces. Since the mid-19th century, the Domaine de Boisseyt has been owned by the Chol family. Six generations have succeeded one another. Then, in 2017, the Decelle family took over the reins of the Domaine de Boisseyt; and it is their eldest son, at the age of 35, who now runs the estate. Romain Decelle, after studying film and directing—which gave him a sense of perspective—joined the family vineyards (Bordeaux, Roussillon, Burgundy). At Domaine de Boisseyt, he quickly came to understand Chavanay’s oldest vineyard, adapting it to his character and style.
