“Made from a small plot of old vines, the 2016 Ventoux is a tremendous success. Aged in concrete tanks, it has a rich, concentrated, and velvety texture, with ripe aromas of plum and stone fruit. The finish is long and hints at garrigue. A very good value—buy by the case. ” (Wine Advocate – Robert Parker)

Excellent value for the price. Not as powerful as a Châteauneuf-du-Pape, of course, but just as refined and elegant

No pleasure—or is it the fruit—it's a flat.

Not bad, but I was very disappointed with this wine, which I found rather flat. The nose is pleasant, but it doesn't live up to its promise on the palate.

Review by Mr. JEAN NOEL G. Published on May 5, 2020
The nose features ripe red and black fruits with a hint of southern spice. On the palate, it is immediately powerful yet balanced, with aromas similar to those on the nose. The tannins are beginning to round out, but given the wine’s concentration, they have not yet softened completely. You can really sense the touch of the Châteauneuf winemaker! It can easily age for another 2–3 years.

It's lost some of its luster, but it's still a pleasure. Enjoy!

A real treat for a wine in this price range. Fruity, smooth, and full-bodied all at once.

A wine from a major producer's private label. Not bad, but nothing like the original.
