"Great value for the price—buy by the case!"

“Made from a small plot of old vines, the 2016 Ventoux is a tremendous success. Aged in concrete tanks, it boasts a rich, concentrated, and velvety texture, along with ripe aromas of plum and stone fruit. The finish is long and hints of garrigue. Excellent value for money—buy by the case. ” (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker)

Excellent value for the price. Not as powerful as a Châteauneuf-du-Pape, of course, but just as refined and elegant

No pleasure, or the fruit is bland.

Not bad, but I was very disappointed by this wine, which I found rather flat. The nose is pleasant, but it doesn't live up to expectations on the palate.

Review by Mr. JEAN NOEL G. Published on May 5, 2020

The nose features ripe red and black fruits with a hint of southern spice. On the palate, it is immediately powerful yet balanced, with flavors mirroring those on the nose. The tannins are beginning to soften, but given the wine’s concentration, they have not yet fully mellowed. You can really sense the touch of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape winemaker! It can easily age for another 2–3 years.

It's lost some of its sparkle, but it's still a pleasure to drink.

A real treat for a wine in this price range. Fruity, smooth, and full-bodied all at once.
