"A white shaped from white flowers and iodine notes!"

Its lovely, intense, crystal-clear floral nose is followed by a supple, fresh attack on the palate, then a rounder, windier finish with a light touch. A fine reference!

Wine rated (2026 guide) 94/100

Domaine rated (guide 2023) 2*Stars (These great estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, must be included in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).

About the wine:

L'Argile, the founding cuvée of the domaine and of Roussillon whites, is just as sunny, refreshed by salt spray.

About the domain :

Back on the family land since 1984, the Parcé brothers first made a name for themselves producing vintage-style mutés sur grains banyuls (vintage, ready-to-drink young), to which they brought a previously unknown precision of flavor and aromatic intensity. Jean-Emmanuel embodies the family's renewal, arriving in 2010. He has reduced the size of the vineyard to 34 hectares of this highly fragmented plot (50 parcels). Sun exposure and altitude vary. He has taken up the challenge of organic farming in this arid landscape, which lives to the rhythm of the sea. The dry reds and whites have become benchmarks, with frank, intense expression. We salute the exceptional consistency of the range, in all three colors, as well as in the VDN, and it's only logical that it should earn back its second star.

About the wine:

A textured, succulent, lemony white wine with aromas of fresh lemons, yellow plums, flowers and blanched almonds. Medium-bodied, with fresh acidity. Lively and precise, with a lingering, tactile finish. For drinking or cellaring.
