“This wine, made from Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre, evokes the scents of the garrigue and an orchard. Its lovely fullness on the palate leans toward fruit, with mineral, well-integrated tannins. The wine is balanced and delicious, offering the Mourvèdre’s leathery notes with finesse on the finish. I'm a little disappointed with this vintage compared to the previous one, 2017. You have to open it well in advance.

A strong, unpleasant animal odor upon opening (reduction). Decanting helped mitigate the problem without completely eliminating it. I'll wait before opening the next bottles.
