Domaine Semper - Côtes du Roussillon Famae rouge 2023
89-90/100
RVF
"This wine with its velvety texture is already gaining quite a reputation!"
“A lovely concentration of fruit—blackcurrant and blueberry—that remains crisp and juicy, reflecting its steep, breezy terroir and aging exclusively in concrete. The palate is harmonious, offering a texture that is both dense and dynamic. Very attractive price.” (La RVF No. 682, July–August 2024)

About the estate:
A low-key family-owned estate located in Maury, the domaine has been run by brothers Florent and Mathieu Semper since 2015. The vineyards, totaling 27 hectares, are mainly planted on the black schist soils of Maury and the granite-rich soils of Lesquerde. The two winemakers built this lovely estate by purchasing several abandoned properties, each featuring beautiful, slightly neglected high-altitude vineyards.
