About the domain :

A discreet family estate located in Maury, the domaine has been in the hands of the two brothers Florent and Mathieu Semper since 2015. The 27-hectare plot of land is mainly spread over the black schists of Maury and the granitic arenas of Lesquerde. The two winemakers built up this attractive heritage by buying up some estates doomed to abandonment, with beautiful, somewhat neglected high-altitude vineyards.

Note and review by M. GILLES D. Published on 10/10/2025

A cocktail of intense blackberry, blackcurrant and black cherry notes, lightly spiced, framed by well-aged, present tannins, concentrates in a full-bodied, yet round palate balanced by a welcome mineral freshness. The warmth of the finish lingers on the palate. Although it can be waited for a good year, this characterful wine can be paired today with an autumnal dish such as stewed Languedoc beef estouffade, embellished with a dark chocolate tile and spiced up with a pinch of Espelette pepper.
