About the estate:
A discreet family estate located in Maury, the domaine has been in the hands of two brothers, Florent and Mathieu Semper, since 2015. The 27 hectares of vineyards are mainly spread across the black schist soils of Maury and the granite arenas of Lesquerde. The two winemakers built up this beautiful estate by buying up certain properties that had been abandoned, with beautiful, somewhat neglected vineyards at altitude.

Review by Mr. Gilles D. Posted on October 10, 2025
A blend of intense notes of blackberry, blackcurrant, and black cherry, with a hint of spice, framed by well-integrated, pronounced tannins, comes together in a full-bodied palate that is nonetheless round and balanced by a welcome mineral freshness. A lingering finish that reveals its warm character. Although it can be cellared for a good year, this wine of character can be enjoyed right now with an autumn dish such as a slow-cooked Languedoc beef stew, enhanced with a square of dark chocolate and spiced with a pinch of Espelette pepper.
