"Fagayra rouge is delightful in its natural, preserved expression of fruit, a little more nervous and crisp in 2013 than in 2012." (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2015 - RVF). A Maury of fine intensity, with notes of morello cherry, blackberry, candied fruit and cocoa, a tannic, well-structured cuvée with a sensation of fruit that you crunch... Very tasty!

Wine rated (2015 guide) 17,5/20 (Great wine)
Domaine rated (2015 guide) 2*Stars (These great estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, because of their consistency and the excellence of their production, must be included in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).
About the wine:
Fagayra rouge is delightful in its natural, preserved expression of fruit, a little more nervous and crisp in 2013 than in 2012.
About the domain :
In 2008, Marjorie and Stéphane Gallet of Domaine Le Roc des Anges embarked on the adventure of making vins doux naturels: with rare inspiration and the utmost concern for quality, they craft grandiose expressions of schist in their three cuvées of maury. These wines, two reds and one white, transcend the limits inherent in mutage, preserving a mineral brilliance and smokiness, a term that is so obvious here. They shed new light on a genre that's still too formatted or conventional, and immediately rank among Maury's very best cuvées. This year's second star is richly deserved.
