Domaine des Ardoisières

Domaine des Ardoisières was founded in 1998 by Michel Grisard, who established 6 hectares of vineyards on the Coteaux de Cevins. He was joined in 2003 by Brice Omont, who now manages Domaine des Ardoisières on his own.

The Domaine des Ardoisières vineyard now comprises 9 hectares of vines on the slopes of Cevins (metamorphic rock such as mica schist and sericite schist, with sandy-loamy soil) and Saint-Pierre de Soucy (sedimentary rock, Jurassic schistose marl, with clay-limestone soil). The vines are cultivated using certified organic farming methods, in accordance with biodynamic principles. Great care is taken with the quality of the grapes, as well as with the winemaking process, with the aim of preserving the purity and aromatic complexity that the grapes acquire in the vineyards through their connection to the terroir.

The wines of Domaine des Ardoisières reveal a true expression of the terroirs from which they originate, to the delight of Savoie wine enthusiasts.
