The 2009 vintage received the following ratings: RVF 16.5/20, Gault Millau 16/20 (Coup de Coeur), Bettane & Desseauve 15/20
Vintage after vintage, we continue to love this complex palette of red fruit and peppery spice aromas, the true signature of this Mondeuse—Arbin’s star grape variety—which expresses itself beautifully on these small, steep, south-facing plots. A quintessential ambassador cuvée that once again showcases the character of its great terroir!

Guide des Vins Gault & Millau
Rated estate (2012 guide): 4 stars (Very high-quality production)
About the estate:
“Louis and Joseph Trosset pay tribute to Mondeuse, the quintessential difficult and demanding grape variety of Savoie. It tolerates neither mediocrity nor average ripeness. On their 4.5-hectare estate, the Trosset sons have come to understand it and cultivate it with great care. The wines are therefore often marvelous, with animal notes, peppery, and spicy... ”
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Rated estate (2013 guide) 2*Stars (These exceptional estates, often boasting fabulous terroirs, are must-haves that, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their wines, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers)
About the estate:
"This 4-hectare estate is situated on the beautiful hillsides of the village of Arbin, a terroir particularly suited to Mondeuse. Expertly managed by two brothers, Joseph (in the vineyard) and Louis (in the cellar), the family-owned property features vines with an average age of 25 years. The soils are worked, vinification is carried out by plot, fermentation follows traditional methods, and aging in tanks lasts 8 to 12 months. The Mondeuse wines possess incredible character and stand out for their elegance and aromatic purity, often with a fresh, aniseed-like quality. The very small production volumes make this estate a hidden gem, yet it produces wines of consistent quality and great aging potential.”

A beautiful bouquet of red fruits and spices, with a silky texture on the palate; easy to drink yet complex and long-lasting. Reminiscent of a fine Syrah.
