“Aged in a concrete egg, a terracotta jar, and in tanks, this appealing Roussanne strikes a perfect balance between roundness and freshness, revealing aromas of yellow fruit and white flowers. ” (Le Guide Hachette 2022). In the 15th century, the Dukes of Savoy divided up the steepest slopes to cultivate the finest local grape varieties. In Chignin, Bergeron has its favorite terroir: the Torméry hillside, renowned for the quality of its wines. The Grand Rebossan estate, the former residence of the Dukes of Savoy, overlooks the vineyard where this Coteau des Ducs cuvée is born.
