Hachette
"Cuvée Hommage, a rare balance".
"One of the estate's flagship cuvées, and one of the oldest (several Favorites to its credit, the first being a 1995). Composed of Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc blended in thirds and aged for 18 months in 30-hl tuns, the 2022 boasts an intense, very youthful purple color, opening with a cocoa and mentholated woodiness. The cherry comes through alongside the oak in a well-balanced palate with good length. Its fine structure will enable this bottle to be enjoyed for years to come". (Guide Hachette 2026).

About the domain :
Una storia italiana. In 1986, the de Conti brothers joined their lands, associated their families and founded the de Conti company. Jean, Luc, their wives and a cousin, Francis, who contributes his 20 ha, follow in the footsteps of Vincenzo, who arrived here in 1925. Joined by the last generation, they manage 60 ha of vines (organic since 2005), supplemented since 2000 by a trading structure that sells wines from neighboring winegrowers who have also converted to organic methods. In 2022, Gilles and Margaux took over.

Wine rated (2026 guide) 93/100
Domaine rated (guide 2023) 2*Stars (These great estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, must be included in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).
About the wine:
La Gloire de mon Père is more massive and concentrated.
About the domain :
The 52-hectare estate has been freshly split between the two branches of the family. Luc de Conti, who has been delighting us with his Bergerac wines for twenty-five years, has separated from his cousin and, with his children, Margaux and Gilles, is building a new future for the estate. The vineyard, entirely organic, produces powerful whites and classic Bergerac reds. From now on, beer, whisky and truffles will also be on the agenda of the label de Conti.
