“Loin de l’œil (70%) and Muscadelle are blended in this masterful Gaillac, which boasts a beautiful golden color and opens with rich, complex aromas of candied lemon, spices, honey, and white flowers. The palate, equally aromatic, combines intense concentration, great richness, impressive body, and delicate freshness in perfect harmony. ” (Le Guide Hachette 2019) Rich and crisp, this wine stands on its own!

About the wine:

Loin de l'œil (70%) and Muscadelle are blended in this magnificent Gaillac, which boasts a beautiful golden color and opens with rich, complex aromas of candied lemon, spices, honey, and white flowers. The palate, equally aromatic, combines intense concentration, great richness, impressive body, and delicate freshness in perfect harmony.

About the estate:

Florentin and Andrée Vayssette, the grandparents, settled on the Chemin des Crêtes de Gaillac in 1930. Their son Jacques and his wife Maryse took over the estate. Later, their grandson Patrice and his wife Nathalie joined them to manage the estate’s 27 hectares of vineyards, which hold the High Environmental Value certification. A trusted name in the appellation.

1 opened in July 2019. Beautiful golden color. Aromas of yellow fruit. Perfectly balanced, with well-integrated sweetness. Very long finish with notes of ripe apricot.
