Bettane & Desseauve

Bettane & Desseauve

Domaine rated (guide 2026) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)

About the domain :

The Laplace brothers courageously manage this large 65-hectare estate, as well as a small adjoining négoce. They have adapted the style of local wines to contemporary needs, seeking greater balance and precision in winemaking. They are never short of imagination, creating wines of character at very reasonable prices.

Domaine noté Award-winning wines (Wines from this producer regularly win awards in the guide)

About the domain :

Château d'Aydie is a family affair (and a sure bet): four Laplace children are now following in the footsteps of their grandfather Frédéric, who was one of the first to sell bottled Madiran, with the help of André Daguin, the famous Gascon chef. The 62-hectare farm has now been joined by a trading structure.
