"Cabernet Sauvignon lovers, discover winemaker Abrie Beeslaar’s expertise in this single-varietal wine from South Africa!"
“Alluring notes of cigar spice, baked plum, and blackcurrant form the nose of this wine, with a hint of cedar adding interest. Medium-bodied, it has a velvety texture thanks to silky yet structuring tannins and just enough acidity to ensure balance. The medium-length finish offers a lovely progression, from jammy black plum and black cherry to lingering sweet spices.” (Wine Enthusiast 2022)

About the wine:
The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate spent five days on the skins in open fermenters and was aged in 50% new oak for 20 months. The bouquet is quite full-bodied, with aromas of black fruit accented by licorice. It’s quite heady, and perhaps slightly overshadowed by the superb 2020 Pinotage. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with good structure, slightly dry tannins, and nice acidity, but the finish lacks just a bit more finesse and complexity. 2024–2038
