"Cabernet Sauvignon lovers, discover the expertise of winemaker Abrie Beeslaar in this single-varietal wine from South Africa!"
"Seductive notes of cigar spice, cooked plum, and blackcurrant form the nose of this wine, with a touch of cedar for added interest. Medium-bodied, it has a velvety texture thanks to silky yet structured tannins and just enough acidity to ensure balance. The medium-length finish offers a beautiful evolution, from jammy black plum and black cherry to lingering sweet spices." (Wine Enthusiast 2022)

About wine:
The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate spent five days on the skins in open fermenters and was aged in 50% new oak for 20 months. The bouquet is quite voluminous, with aromas of black fruit enhanced by licorice. It is quite heady, and perhaps slightly overshadowed by the superb 2020 Pinotage. The palate is medium-bodied, with good grip, slightly dry tannins, and nice acidity, but the finish lacks a little finesse and complexity. 2024-2038
