Weingut Wittmann - Riesling Trocken Morstein GG 2019

"An exceptional product—very limited quantities!"
“Leave this narrow world behind and set out to discover this dry, expansive Riesling that breaks free from the conventional mold of this grape variety. And that is precisely what makes it so difficult to describe. However, there is certainly more yellow fruit (mirabelle plum, but also a hint of pineapple) than white fruit (a touch of ripe pear), and the minerality is immense, yet extremely precise and delicate. The finish just won’t let up!” (James Sucking 2019)

About the wine:
The 2019 Morstein Riesling GG is open and chalky, with an intense, deep, elegant, and refined nose, fragrant with lemon. The palate is lush and precise; this is a dry, refined Riesling, extremely lively and silky in texture, with very fine tannins, great tension, finesse, and a stimulating salinity. Morstein fans shouldn’t miss the 2019! Tasted from a sample in April 2020.
