On the first sniff, it almost feels like biting into the slate that is so characteristic of this Riesling’s terroir; this is followed by mineral, smoky, and white pepper notes. The palate is marked by very delicate aromas of blueberries, juniper, and sloes. Its very intense minerality is reminiscent of iodine. This noble wine will be a wonderful accompaniment to a meal!
