“Generous and appetizing, the juicy pear dominates both the nose and the palate. Aromas of ripe yellow pear dance with freshness, freely and in full expression. The palate is full-bodied, dry, and juicy. The utterly seductive pear notes linger and persist.” (Wine Enthusiast 2017)

About the estate:

Located in Ammerschwihr, a major wine-growing village northwest of Colmar, this winery celebrated its 400th anniversary in 2014. Its 17th-century cellars house old oak barrels that are still in use. It combines a wine merchant operation with a biodynamically farmed vineyard.
