Blending is permitted for Grand Cru Kaefferkopf wines. 70% Gewurztraminer and 30% Riesling are harvested on the same day from the oldest plots, which are between 60 and 70 years old. Nose
Very flattering, the nose is a blend of yellow fruit aromas (peach, mango), white flowers (acacia, jasmine), and candied lemon.
Mouth
Softness and finesse. Fruity and spicy notes typical of Gewurztraminer. Finish enhanced by the exceptional freshness of Riesling.

About the estate:
Located in Ammerschwihr, an important wine-growing village northwest of Colmar, this estate celebrated its 400th anniversary in 2014. Its 17th-century cellars house old oak casks that are still in use today. It combines a wine merchant business with a biodynamically farmed estate.
