About the estate:
Located in Ammerschwihr, a major wine-growing village northwest of Colmar, this winery celebrated its 400th anniversary in 2014. Its 17th-century cellars house old oak casks that are still in use. It combines a wine merchant operation with a biodynamically farmed vineyard.

About the wine:
Notes of ripe pear have a velvety quality, blended with hints of baked apple and sweet vanilla spice. The round palate reveals a pleasant texture and residual sugars that make the pear and apple flavors even rounder. The wine is very well balanced between lovely freshness and concentration. The finish is dry and long.
