"The sensation of the year"

"A far cry from the classic, boring Pinot Gris, this dry wine is both juicy and straightforward on the palate, with a well-balanced structure and medium body. Its long, tangy, and salty finish crowns this charming and subtle wine. Made from biodynamically grown grapes, partly from the Hengst Grand Cru." (James Suckling 2025)

Rated estate (2025 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing good wines; you won't be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)

About wine:

Pinot Gris, dry and precise

About the estate:

This estate, founded in 2017, consists of the vineyards inherited by Amélie Buecher, who comes from a long line of winegrowers, and Charles Sparr, the son of a family of wine merchants. Certified organic in 2017 and then biodynamic in 2019, their vineyard has four grands crus and offers a consistent range of sincere, unpretentious wines. The quality is improving rapidly, the Pinot Noirs are shining, and the estate has earned its first star this year.
