Domaine Frey-Sohler

Frey-Sohler is the story of a family of winemakers with deep roots in viticulture spanning five generations. In the 1940s, grandfather Xavier FREY established a major grape market where the famous Alsatian wineries came to source their Riesling. Today, the Frey-Sohler estate spans approximately 30 hectares and is run by the Sohler brothers: Nicolas, the “winemaker,” also oversees the vineyards; Jean handles labeling; and Damien manages sales and administration. The sixth generation has just joined the estate.
