complex
potential

There is great purity in the BenMarco Expresivo 2016. It is floral, airy, fresh, and complex, and it is still very young and lively in a way that I really like. This year's blend is 75% Malbec and 25% Cabernet Franc, with all the herbs and wildflowers of Gualtallary. It has a vibrant palate, with the characteristics of each grape variety well integrated and complementary." (Wine Advocate 2018 - Luis Gutiérrez)

About wine:

The nose really leans into notes of pure blackcurrant, iodine, ink, graphite, crushed stone, flint, morello cherry, and licorice. The fresh purity of the fruit that permeates the entire palate is what makes this wine. The tannins are so compact and structured, framing tons of violet and lavender flavors and carrying them through to a long finish. 75% Malbec and 25% Cabernet Franc. Drink from 2022 onwards.
