About the wine:
The BenMarco Expresivo 2020 is a blend of Malbec and 15% Cabernet Franc from Gualtallary, harvested during a hot, dry year in which the grapes ripened quickly and fully, reaching an alcohol content of 14.5%. It features notes of creamy oak and sweet spices and was aged in new and used oak barrels for 14 months. It is juicy and medium-bodied, with fine tannins and chalky notes, as it was selected from whiter soils with more stones and limestone. 2022–2027

A red wine made from Malbec and Cabernet Franc grapes grown in Gualtallary, in the Uco Valley, aged for 14 months in French oak barrels, 70% of which are new. It features ripe red and black fruits, followed by floral, herbaceous, and spicy notes that appear on both the nose and palate, all supported by firm, sandy tannins and refreshing acidity. The finish is full-bodied and lingering, with notes of plum, blackberry, fresh herbs, and violet. A fine expression of a hot vintage at Gualtallary.
