About the estate:

As a young winemaker, Benjamin Passot gained his first experience in winemaking in Vosne-Romanée. At the same time, he developed his own estate and began cultivating a few arpents of land in Juliénas in 2017. He has since acquired vineyards in Chénas and Chiroubles.

13% alcohol. 30-year-old vines in the En Pérelle locality, 0.4 ha, clay-and-gravel soils (alluvial deposits), Burgundian maceration (destemmed) with wild yeast. It’s vibrant and juicy, with bright notes of raspberry and cherry that are fresh and nuanced. On the palate, it offers hints of wet stone and lovely acidity, resulting in a lively and alert style of Gamay that is truly satisfying.
