About wine:
Favorite the same 2017 vintage, Benjamin Passot offers a beautifully crafted 2019, made from old vines over 80 years old. After 10 months in barrel, this Juliénas presents woody notes (cocoa) that blend harmoniously with black fruits, followed by a fleshy palate with pleasant depth, structured by fine tannins.
About the estate:
A young winegrower, Benjamin Passot gained his first experience in winegrowing in Vosne-Romanée. At the same time, he developed his own estate and settled on a few acres in Juliénas in 2017. Since then, he has taken over vineyards in Chénas and Chiroubles.

This wine has a lot of substance. The wood is still present and needs to integrate. Keep it in the cellar for now.
