A concentrated wine whose aroma is somewhat reminiscent of a Ruby LBV Port, this Morgon beautifully captures the essence of its terroir of origin: "Corcelette." A well-structured wine with discernible tertiary notes. Quite simply, the perfect wine for any occasion!

Rated estate (2022 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking and, as such, all the estates listed in it, even those without stars, represent, in our opinion, the excellence of French production.)

About the estate:

In the center of the village of Chiroubles, on the green balcony of Beaujolais, Christophe, a sixth-generation winemaker, cultivates 16.5 hectares, 14 of which are located in his own vineyard. Using (traditional) semi-carbonic maceration, he destems the grapes in plots where they are not fully ripe. He sells everything in bottles at a fair price, which is what Chiroubles should be sold for. However, we are surprised by the differences in style within the range, noting irregularities in the latest vintages.
