"This impressive vintage (30,000 bottles) awakens the nose with its explosive bouquet of rose potpourri. Joyful and devilishly indulgent, it seduces with its 'high drinkability'." (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2020 - RVF) A Gamay with fresh juice and floral aromas grown on sandy-granitic soils, a beautiful illustration of this Beaujolais Cru.

About wine:
Christophe Savoye readily praises the finesse of this cuvée, which is generally very representative of the Chiroubles terroir. The sunny 2018 vintage has done its work; and while this wine is appreciated for its harmony, it is also well-structured and expressive, with intense notes of red fruit and spices.
About the estate:
Sophie and Christophe Savoye, who have been based in Chiroubles since 1991, have taken over from five generations. They farm 16 hectares spread across the Chiroubles, Morgon, and Régnié AOCs.

About wine:
This significant vintage (30,000 bottles) awakens the nose with its explosive bouquet of rose potpourri. Joyful and devilishly indulgent, it seduces with its "high drinkability."
About the estate:
In the center of the village of Chiroubles, on the green balcony of Beaujolais, Christophe, a sixth-generation winemaker, cultivates 16.5 hectares, 14 of which are located in his own vineyard. Using (traditional) semi-carbonic maceration, he destems the grapes in plots where they are not fully ripe. He sells everything in bottles at a fair price, which is what Chiroubles should be sold for. However, we are surprised by the differences in style within the range, noting irregularities in the latest vintages.
