Rated estate (2022 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking and, as such, all the estates listed in it, even those without stars, represent, in our opinion, the excellence of French production.)

About the estate:

Cathy Duthel and her husband David Duthel took over from Jean-Paul Ruet, who developed bottled sales at this estate founded in 1926. Adhering to traditional semi-carbonic vinification methods, the Ruet estate adapts to the profile of each vintage, partially destemming depending on the year, aging in wood or vats, punching down and racking to bring out the maximum fruitiness. Careful work in the vineyards highlights the marriage of the soil and the Gamay grape. The wide and very consistent range can be discovered in a well-stocked cellar.
