Domaine Labruyère
The Labruyère estate has been located in Moulin-à-Vent for nearly two centuries. The Labruyère family has always had a special attachment to its wine estate. Over the years, it has equipped Domaine Labruyère with technical tools that are sometimes innovative for the Moulin-à-Vent appellation: sustainable viticulture, soil cultivation, parcel-by-parcel vinification, temperature-controlled vats, sorting tables, etc., in order to produce wines with great aging potential.
For the past 10 years, Edouard and Jean-Pierre Labruyère have been working to refocus the Domaine Labruyère vineyards on the appellation's finest plots. In addition to Clos du Carquelin, Clos du Moulin (the appellation's only monopole) and the Champ de Cour vineyards have been added to the estate's range of terroirs. Now part of the Labruyère family group's wine division, alongside Château Rouget in Pomerol and Domaine Jacques Prieur in Meursault, the Moulin à Vent estate is enjoying a new lease of life and is now one of the leaders in its appellation.
