Domaine Labruyère

Domaine Labruyère has been based in Moulin-à-Vent for nearly two centuries. The Labruyère family has always had a special attachment to its vineyard. Over the years, they have equipped Domaine Labruyère with technical tools that were at times innovative for the Moulin-à-Vent appellation—including sustainable viticulture, soil management, plot-by-plot winemaking, temperature-controlled tanks, and sorting tables—all with the aim of producing wines with great aging potential.

For the past 10 years, Edouard and Jean-Pierre Labruyère have focused on concentrating Domaine Labruyère ’s vineyards on the appellation’s finest plots. In addition to the Clos du Carquelin, the Clos du Moulin (the appellation’s only monopole) and the Champ de Cour vineyards have rounded out the estate’s range of terroirs. Now part of the Labruyère family group’s wine division alongside Château Rouget in Pomerol and Domaine Jacques Prieur in Meursault, the Moulin à Vent estate is experiencing a new surge in growth and has already established itself as one of the leaders in its appellation.
