Produced from the oldest plots and aged in oak barrels, this cuvée offers great aromatic complexity, supported by a firm yet silky structure. The palate is full-bodied, long and fresh. This is a great Régnié that can be enjoyed immediately. It's fruity, but will reveal many other facets over the course of its twenty years or so of cellaring.

Bettane & Desseauve
Wine rated (2026 guide) 90/100
Domaine rated (guide 2024) 3*Stars (High-quality production that can serve as a benchmark in its sector)
About the domain :
Cédric Lecareux and his wife Catherine gave birth to Domaine de Capréoles in July 2014 with three hectares of adjoining vines, an area added to by two hectares two years later. From beaujolais-villages to cru régnié, everything is recommendable, with, it seems to us, more refined maturation. A fine address.

Wine noted (guide 2026) 1*Star (Very successful wine)
Domaine noté (guide 2024) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the wine:
Vintage after vintage, Cédric Lecareux confirms that he is one of Regnié's leading lights. In 2023, he has produced a wine in which woody, peppery and licorice aromas blend harmoniously with fruit and floral notes. The palate is rich and long-lasting.
About the domain :
Cédric Lecareux - who arrived from Languedoc-Roussillon, where he officiated at estates belonging to the Gérard Bertrand group - and his wife, originally from Beaujolais, bought this 250-year-old estate in 2014. They now cultivate 8 hectares of organic vines planted like a garden around the property, with an exceptional view of Régnié-Durette's two bell towers.

Domaine noté (guide 2024) Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).
About the wine:
Diaclase is full and complete, with fine oxidative notes.
About the domain :
Cédric Lecareux is one of those neo-winemakers who are making a difference in Beaujolais. Technical director of a major Languedoc négociant for six harvests, he settled in Régnié with his wife Catherine, an agricultural engineer like himself, on an abandoned estate. As soon as they arrived, in 2014, they committed to organic certification, confirmed in 2017. Adhering to the maxim "The rule is that there are no rules", they adapt the de-stemming and ageing process to suit each year.

Rated domain (guide 2023) Recommended
About the wine:
It has great depth, with ripe, generous aromas of red and blue fruits, spices, dried orange peel and an earthy note in the background. The palate is full and structured, with succulent fruit and lively acidity that prolong the wine's length, bringing freshness and energy. Made from organically grown grapes. For drinking or cellaring.
