Domaine Les Capréoles
In July 2014, Cédric Lecareux and his wife Catherine founded Domaine Les Capréoles with 3 hectares of vineyards purchased in Régnié. Today, the entire vineyard spans 8 hectares across Régnié and Lantignié, a commune poised for future cru classification. Situated on a south-facing granite hillside, the Gamay vines surround the estate’s buildings.
Trained as an agricultural engineer and oenologist, Cédric Lecareux decided, upon acquiring the vineyard, to convert Domaine Les Capréoles to organic viticulture. The estate has been certified Organic since 2017 Organic Demeter-certified since 2018 for its biodynamic practices, before transitioning to Byodivin certification in 2023.
The wines of Domaine Les Capréoles were named by the children of Catherine and Cédric Lecareux. Four vintages with original names: Cossinelle, Chamodère, Diaclase, and Sous la Croix.
