About the estate:

Château les Tours de Peyrat is a 16-hectare family-owned vineyard (certified organic) planted on the clay-limestone soils of Saint-Paul-de-Blaye, managed by Christelle Sauboua since 2000. It is part of the Cars cooperative (founded in 1937), renamed “Châteaux solidaires” in 2011, which vinifies the harvests of about ten member châteaux—selected with great care—separately.

A magnificent wine with plenty of body, yet it’s perfectly balanced by intense fruitiness. Very good—I’m going to let one bottle age to see how it turns out!

This organic wine offers excellent value for the price. It has aromas and flavors of red fruit and is well-balanced; its alcohol content (14°) isn't noticeable on the palate because its flavor takes center stage.
