"A wonderful source of pleasure"
“Merlot (80%), the two Cabernets, and Malbec come together to create a wine that is admirable from start to finish. The nose evokes fresh red fruits against a subtle, well-balanced woody backdrop. On the palate, it is full-bodied, smooth, and silky, with perfectly integrated tannins and great finesse.” (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2019)

About the wine:
Merlot (85%), the two Cabernets, and Malbec come together to create a wine that is admirable from start to finish. The nose evokes fresh red fruits against a subtle, well-balanced woody backdrop. On the palate, it is full-bodied, smooth, and perfectly silky, with perfectly integrated tannins and great finesse.
About the estate:
Château les Tours de Peyrat is a 16-hectare family-owned vineyard (certified organic) planted on the clay-limestone soils of Saint-Paul-de-Blaye, managed by Christelle Sauboua since 2000. It is part of the Cars cooperative (founded in 1937), renamed “Châteaux solidaires” in 2011, which vinifies the harvests of about ten member châteaux—selected with great care—separately.

A magnificent wine with power, yet it’s all beautifully balanced by intense fruitiness. Great—I’ll let one bottle age to see how it turns out!

Excellent value for the price. A beautiful label that complements the contents.

This organic wine offers excellent value for the price. It has aromas and flavors of red fruit and is well-balanced; its alcohol content (14°) isn't noticeable on the palate because the flavor takes center stage.

5/5, especially for its value for money—an elegant, feminine, and full-bodied wine.

The wine is very pleasant. And the label is cheerful. A great choice.
