Château l'Evêché

Château l'Evêché is owned by the Capdeville family, based in the hamlet of La Chapelle Lescours, and produces wines under the AOC Bordeaux and AOC Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellations. Château l'Evêché currently has a vineyard of 4.20 hectares, where the most gravelly plots are selected to create the estate’s flagship wine

The Château l’Evêché vineyard is managed using sustainable viticulture practices: plowing, simple or mixed Guyot pruning with an emphasis on achieving the appropriate yield per vine, and green pruning/thinning of each vine. Château l’Evêché follows traditional Bordeaux winemaking methods, producing AOC Bordeaux and AOC Saint-Émilion Grand Cru wines that rank among the highest quality in the region.
