A tribute to Jean-Luc Buffeteau's grandmother, Yvonne, founder of the vineyard, this wine marks a return to basics. A single-varietal Merlot with no added sulfur, it is elegant and flavorful. A few weeks of patience and an hour of aeration are needed to fully enjoy this lovely, smooth, and fruity wine.

About the estate:
Jean-Luc Buffeteau, who returned to his family's land in 1998, cultivates 29 hectares of vines on the rolling hillsides of Entre-deux-Mers, in the heart of the Sauveterre region, in the communes of Castelviel and Gornac. He produces two labels there, La Grande Métairie and Haut Dambert.
