Notes: Gold Medal, Aquitaine Wine Competition
Last spring, we introduced you to the "white" version of Château la Grande Métairie, a fresh, rich, and well-balanced Entre-Deux-Mers that had already won over many of you. You won’t be able to resist the estate’s red wine either—a Merlot-dominated (70%) wine that is full-bodied, delicate, and well-structured on the palate, presented here from the great 2009 vintage. A wine worth discovering and an excellent value!

About the estate:
Jean-Luc Buffeteau, who returned to the family estate in 1998, cultivates 29 hectares of vineyards on the rolling hillsides of Entre-deux-Mers, in the heart of the Sauveterrois region, in the towns of Castelviel and Gornac. There, he produces two wines: La Grande Métairie and Haut Dambert.
