Château Tour de Mirambeau is owned by the Despagne family. This superb 84-hectare estate in the Entre-Deux-Mers region is where Jean Louis made a name for himself with British Airways, which served Tour de Mirambeau on board its flights for 25 years! It is one of the most widely available Bordeaux wines in European restaurants and specialty stores.
Deeply rooted in the Bordeaux region for several generations, the Despagne family comes from a long line of winegrowers dating back to 1890. The wines have earned their place among the biggest names thanks to innovative expertise, both in terms of terroir and winemaking.
Today, the family business is in the hands of the younger generation: Thibault and Basaline.
