Château Caillivet

Château Caillivet is owned by the Carrillo family and is located in Mazères, 35 km southeast of Bordeaux. The Château Caillivet estate was created in 1997 by Philippe and his son Antoine on the family's land. The first AOC Graves vintage was produced in 2001.

The Château Caillivet vineyard comprises 7 hectares of vines planted on clay-gravel soil. The vines are cultivated with the utmost care: no chemical fertilizers are used, and manual suckering and leaf removal are carried out, along with green harvesting to limit yields. The grapes are harvested by hand, with three successive sorting processes in the vineyard and in the cellar. Such high standards and rigor give Château Caillivet's AOC Graves wines their suppleness and elegance, as well as their delicious flavor.
