About the estate:
Located in Mazères, in the Graves appellation, Caillivet is owned by the Carrillo family. In 1997, Philippe and his son Antoine created the vineyard on the family's land, planting 7 hectares of Merlot (60%) and Cabernet Sauvignon, supplemented by a little Sauvignon and Sémillon for the white wine. The first harvest produced the 2001 vintage.

About wine:
This wine, aged exclusively in vats, offers toasted notes on the nose and palate. It is a concentrated red, marked by rich texture and prominent black fruit notes. Excellent value for money. Best drunk between 2017 and 2022.

The wine is undrinkable. Perhaps there was a problem with transportation due to the high temperatures.
