Wine rated (2022 guide) 89/100
About the wine:
A good-quality Haut-Médoc with character and depth of fruit. At present, this wine has soft tannins, but already suggests that it will develop nicely over the next few years. The finish is a little short, but overall a pleasant wine. 2022-2035
Guide Hachette des vins

Domaine noté (guide 2020) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the wine:
The first vintage to be converted to organic production, this 2019 stands out for its powerful structure, heralded by its deep red color with brilliant highlights. Ample, dense and silky, it highlights aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and sweet spices. 2026-2032
About the domain :
A noble land in the 14th century, this 20-hectare cru is dominated by an elegant Carthusian monastery built by Victor Louis in the late 18th century. It was bought in 1964 by the Touchais family, who had come from the Anjou vineyards. Luc Touchais replanted the vineyard in 1973, and in 2005 passed it on to his son Lionel, an oenologist with experience in a number of foreign estates.

Yves Beck
Wine rated (2021 guide) 90/100
About the wine:
Subtle bouquet revealing pleasant blueberry and blackberry nuances followed by hints of anise. Fruity, refreshing attack. Precise, well-integrated and pertinent tannins. A juicy, fruity wine that still needs to channel its energies and deserves a little cellaring to round out its finish. 2025-2036
Vert de Vin
Wine rated (2022 guide) 90-91/100 (Jonathan Choukroun Chicheportiche)
About the wine:
The nose is fresh and juicy. There are notes of bright cherry, pulpy/juicy raspberry and, more lightly, blackberry, combined with delicate hints of violet and nutmeg. The palate is fruity, offering freshness, good definition, a certain greediness and a little fat. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, bright cherry and, more lightly, strawberry, combined with a touch of fresh flowers, a discreet hint of crunchy red plums and fine hints of tonka bean and toast. The tannins are racy and well-balanced. Good length. Discreet firmness on the finish/persistence.
