Françoise and Jacky Lorenzetti sold their network of real estate agencies (Foncia) and purchased this château in 2009 from the Jugla family. They undertook major renovations in the vineyard and cellar (including the construction of a new wine cellar by Jean-Michel Wilmotte) to restore the reputation of this estate, founded in 1810, whose vineyards now cover approximately 50 hectares following the acquisition of new plots.

Medium-bodied, this approachable and indulgent wine offers a balancing freshness and a rich, velvety texture, blending black and red berries with spices and notes of chocolate and blond tobacco. The finish is very smooth, with a hint of minerality. For a second growth from Pauillac, we would have appreciated a bit more power and depth. Paired with Limousine skirt steak with shallots, accompanied by pan-seared porcini mushrooms in duck fat. Rating = 4.
